Botulinum toxin relaxes the specific muscles that fold skin into expression lines. Dosed conservatively, the line softens and the expression stays.
Ask before bookingThe toxin blocks the nerve signal that tells a muscle to contract, at the neuromuscular junction. The result is not a frozen face: it is reduced contraction strength in one targeted muscle, to a degree set by the dose and the injection point.
Common areas: glabellar lines between the brows, forehead lines, lines around the eyes, bunny lines, gummy smile, the masseter, and platysmal neck bands. Planning starts from how your face actually moves — not from a fixed protocol.
Botox will not fill static lines already etched at rest, will not replace lost volume, and will not lift significant laxity. If that is the problem, more units is not the answer.
Not when the dose and distribution are right. A frozen look comes from over-dosing or misplacement. We usually start conservative and add at the two-week review if needed.
It does not accumulate. The toxin breaks down locally and the muscle gradually recovers. What does accumulate over time is improvement in the line itself, as the muscle learns to contract less.
Your face gradually returns to how it was before treatment — not worse. The idea that stopping makes wrinkles worse is not medically accurate.
A hyaluronic acid gel placed at a specific depth to replace lost volume or redefine a facial line. Dissolvable if it needs to be.
